About

Sharon Macaulay, Principal Planner

I have 20 plus years’ experience facilitating successful outcomes for a diverse range of land use, development and subdivision projects.

Having commenced my career working on complex commercial and residential development projects, I relocated from inner Melbourne to central Victoria in 2007 where I have developed insight into regional planning matters.

My role as principal planner has facilitated many clients to successfully relocate to regional Victoria or to enhance their current experience of living and working in a rural shire. In recent years, I’ve been kept busy with urban and rural living subdivisions that reflect market demands and strategic settlement planning policy.

With more than 12 years’ experience in preparing and coordinating Planning Scheme Amendments, I am well placed to initiate strategic rezonings and associated land use and development outcomes for residential, commercial, and industrial land uses.

My services also include medium-density affordable housing developments in Melbourne and regional growth towns.

I work closely with clients to ensure I fully understand the project brief and deliver on the unique needs of each project.

I will give you an honest appraisal of the likely success of your proposal before you invest in detailed consultancy services, saving you time and money. I design and coordinate staged project work plans to clarify the best approach, facilitate positive outcomes and avoid unexpected delays.
